Ah, the end of May. The season of graduates. As of yesterday I am no longer a Junior and will be moving on to bigger and better things: I'll be a Senior this September, after my summer break!
The thought is kind of scary. I only have one year left to be a kid. Then I'll graduate, and turn 18 a few months later.
I remember my first day of school. I was so excited, yet nervous at the same time (I was in public school kindergarten- six weeks of 2nd grade). I was four years old and didn't have a care in the world.
I remember the little play-house that was in my classroom and some of the little girls in my class and I would play "house". I remember playing with Play-Doh, using "kiddy scissors", and story time (which wasn't one of my favorites because I had to sit still and be quiet lol:).
Things were so simple then. I always dreamed about being a "big kid" and it seemed so far away. But time has flown by! Now I'm a Senior, before I know it I'll be a graduate, then I'll be 18 years old and legally be an adult. It's a scary thought-- growing up-- because I don't know where this life will lead me...
Even though I'm anxious, I know God has a perfect, beautiful plan for my life. I have fears... many fears! But I know my life does not stop at a dead end. :)
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
Romans 8:28
Sure, there will be trials and tribulation. The storms will come, but they will pass in time.
I am always moving forward in life. Sometimes I'm not quite sure where I'm headed, but that's okay, because the Captain of my ship does know, and He is in control. 
So here's to new things!
And moving forward!
