Update

So I thought I would let y'all know how my dad is doing. :) His surgery went well (for those who don't know, he had a lump on his left breast that the doctors wanted to remove). We got the report back on the lump and it is benign (definition: of a mild type or character that does not threaten health or life; especially : not becoming cancerous). Praise the Lord!

Thank you for all your prayers and concern! Also, Dad has been planting a lot of plants around our front and back yards lately. I'm not sure what they're all called but they're beautiful and someday they'll grow up big and even more beautiful! :)

~Matthew 13:32~
"Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches."

Hello Chums

Some of you may be wondering why I haven't been on blogger much lately. Well, I don't really have a good excuse. Other than I have been tied up by other things and didn't have the gumption to post. *guilty wince*

My poor blog got pushed further and further down on my mental list of things to tend to. :/

Do not fret. Everything is a'okay! Dad is doing very well right now. His Tysabri infusions have been going well and he's got some energy. He and my Papa have been outside, working on a lean-to for James the unit. ^_^ It's nice to see dad outside, working again. :)

I have kept myself busy doing school, taking care of household chores, and spending time with friends and family. Oh, and yes, I still have my babysitting job. :)

Narthea's courtship is going wonderfully! She and her beau are always smiling at each other and giggling. It's cute. ^_^ She probably wouldn't enjoy me saying that on the Internet, so *shhh*. ;)

I took a walk outside today and snapped some photos that I wanted to share with you. They're pretty random, but hey, it's something to post. :)

{This is the "key to my heart" necklace I bought on Valentine's Day and am keeping for my future husband. Not that he has to wear it... lol}

{The grass is vibrant and green again. As you can see, I'm loving it!}

 {I don't know why, but I just love this picture.}

{So photogenic!}

{The lean-to for James.}

{And of course my incredibly handsome, precious dog Ty. ;) Just look at that face...}

I hope you have been doing good and enjoying life while I've been away. I have a lot of blogs to catch up on. ;)

Winter Wonderland

As I sit here eating some Strawberry ice-cream (which I guarantee you I don't need), I thought I would share some pictures of the our winter wonderland from last week. We got 9 inches of snow! It was so beautiful! The first day we were very excited, but by the second day I think everyone in my small Texas town was ready for it to melt. :)

Doesn't this kinda look like a spider web? *shrugs shoulders* Maybe it's just me and my creative mind. :)

James the Unit couldn't handle the snow. He got stuck.

Ty loved the snow!

{Note: I think my mom took the following pictures. I just put my watermark on them so no one would use them.}

My mother has informed me that this week we are supposed to receive more snow. Yeesh, when will this torture end? Couldn't Oklahoma just keep it? *sigh*

I pray everyone has a wonderful week. God bless!

There's Just Something..

There's just something about old barns...

...and old trucks.

Ah, something about lonesome swings...

...and Christmas lights in January. :)

Yes, there's definitely something about vibrant colors...

...and rusty tractors in a field.

There's just something about the small things in life, the things we would normally pass right by, that behold such beauty when we take the time to find them.
{1 Peter 3:4}
"Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight."

Feelin' Feminine {Day 6} Plus More!

Day six of the feminine challenge! Wow. It seems like just yesterday I told Eden I wanted to participate. :)

Today I wore my black and brown, Zebra striped shirt, with my black skirt, and my black flats.

My Me-ma and Pa-pa came over today and my Pa-pa did some work around our land that dad isn't able to do, and I took a walk through our pasture, snapping photos of things that caught my eyes. I loved them so much I thought I would share them with you. ;)

Caldirwen on Pa-pa's tractor.

My feet! :)
