Don't Laugh!

Okay, here's a poem I just came up with after making the noodles to my dad's beef Ramen soup, while shredding the pepper jack cheese and sprinkling the pepper onto the soggy, wet noodles. :P (no, I do not eat it like that... yuck! Plus, my fav is chicken! ;)

SNOW
You rest upon my face, making your presence known.
I bundle up to see you, so you won't be alone.
You always make me smile, and laugh when I'm with you.
If only you could stay a while and make my nose turn blue.
As you gently leave my presence, I whisper my goodbye.
"I'll come again next winter," your humble, sweet reply.
(this would be the point when I would insert a picture of falling snow... ;)

It didn't snow much this Winter, just once, and it didn't stay long. I was gazing out the window while making the interesting Ramen my dad so dearly loves and thinking about the time I stood out on our porch, dancing in the snow... barefoot. Yes, I know, I am crazy, but it was fun! You should try it sometime! Just make sure you don't stick your feet in hot water afterwards, they start doing... weird things... lol =D Anyway, so that's why I started thinking up this... "poem". I was very surprised, and proud of myself for thinking this up. Normally I come up with two lines and they sound unreasonably stupid, but this time it just came to me. Maybe it was the pepper jack cheese. Maybe it was the pepper. Maybe it was the noodles (lol). Even so, I made it up and am very pleased. Though, I don't know why I would want my nose to turn blue... :P

Great poem. No, I did not laugh. We have had tons and tons of snow this winter. We are under two feet at the moment and have more coming on Tuesday. Loving it!
