And, praise God, my dad is home from the Hospital! He and momma got home last night around seven o' clock. I'll be posting my Feelin' Feminine post later! I haven't gotten a picture of my outfit yet. lol

Miscellany Saturday... 'Cause I Want To

Well, I'm lacking an individual subject to post about right now, so I figured I would just do a miscellany Saturday today. :)

More pictures of the goats!

In the first picture Lilly is in front, and Rosey in the back. In the second picture (to the right) you see Baley on the far left, then Rosey in front, and Lilly behind her, eating the bark off a tree. I think you can tell who is who in the next ones. :) They're so cute. Lilly got out yesterday because Caldirwen left the gate open when she went to feed the chickens. It was really easy to get her back in. All I had to do was put a cup of feed in their bucket, shake it so she could hear the feed rattling, then she came running back into her pen for the food. She's such a good little girl. :P

I took Narthea's camera today and snapped some pictures of my map pencils. Then I edited them on Picnik.com. What do you think?

I think the second one looks pretty cool, but I like the first one better, because I love color! :)

We didn't have my party because Momma is sick. We think she has strep throat. She went to the doctor yesterday, but it was a quick in-and-out because they were just working her in. All he said was that her throat looked pretty bad and he prescribed her some medicine. Momma has a really bad cough and it sounds painful. I was sick with the same thing about a week and a half ago, so I know how bad it feels. I just pray that she gets better soon 'cause I hate it when Momma gets sick. :( 

For those who are wondering, my party is re-scheduled for next weekend instead. Hopefully everyone will be well and we can have it! :)

This morning I was able to finally make myself a purse. After all that sewing for everyone else I was getting kinda impatient about making one for myself. :)  So after breakfast I locked myself away in my sewing world and made this:

Isn't the fabric just darling? Oh, I love it!! The little bird and the branch with tiny leaves on it.... *sighs* I'm very pleased with my new purse. :) You can't really tell, but there are brown birds on the straps. You can see two of them on either side in the second picture, but you can't really tell what they are. lol :D

After my former pair of sunglasses finally gave out, at last I have bought another cute pair.

I love sunglasses. I would stock up on them if I could. I mean, I can, but I'd rather use my money on things other than a dozen pair of sunglasses. lol Plus, these babies are cute enough to satisfy my inner love.... for now. :P

Right now I am very hungry. It's 1:50pm and I haven't eaten a thing today. I don't usually eat breakfast, so it's normal for me to be completely starving by noon (which is when we usually eat lunch), but we haven't eaten lunch yet. Momma and dad are gone today. Momma had to take dad to an appointment, so it's just me and my sisters. Well, my sisters ate breakfast at 10am (which I sadly admit is when I woke up this morning), and like I said, I don't eat breakfast, so I got started on my school instead. Well, it was exactly noon when I got done, and I was ready to eat, but they weren't because they had just eaten at 10. I looked in the pantry for something to munch on, but there was nothing. Needless to say, I'm starving and I keep imagining a big, juicy steak.

This Friday we're celebrating my birthday with a couple of my friends!! We're gonna go out to lunch, then come back to my house to swim. My friends are spending the night, and we'll pig out on brownie sundaes all night. Doesn't that sound delicious?! :D

Wow, I can't get my mind off of food right now. LOL :D Anyways, I'm very excited about the party and I can't wait!

My Lilly-goat is getting cuter and cuter every day. :) She's so precious. Rosie, however (Rosie is Caldirwen's goat) is a pesky little goat. Since we've gotten her (which was last week) she has given me two bruises, and broken one of my necklace chains. Let me explain:

The first bruise happened when I was feeding the goats one evening. Rosie got excited, and started playing around with Baley (Esara's goat) and they started knocking each other with their heads. Well, Rosie missed Baley and got me in the leg. It didn't hurt too bad. I'm lucky her horns when on either side of my calf, not into it. :)

The second bruise happened [again] when I was feeding the goats. I dumped the feed in their feeders and Rosie [again] got excited. She knocked one of the feeders off, so I reached down to get it. Just as I did, she got up under me and lifted her head, sending one of her horns into my arm. I know have a quarter sized, purple/yellow/blue knot on my right arm.

Just after she bruised my arm, Rosie took off running because I yelped and scared her. Along with her went my necklace, that had gotten caught on her horns when I was bent over, and she jerked her head up. *sigh* I guess it's okay. I mean, I got the charm back, so now all I have to do is find a new chain. :)

Introduction

This morning my family and I all got in the truck and we were off to pick up the new members of our family: Rosey, Baley, and Lilly. =D Eep! Yes, I now officially have my own goat!

Just thought I'd introduce you to my Lilly-goat. :) Isn't she just adorable?

So, now we have Molly {the family cow}, Darcy {Narthea's cow}, Rosey {Caldirwen's goat}, Baley {Esara's goat} and, of course, my dear Lilly. Oh, don't forget my fat black lab we all love, Ty. ;)
