Orange Wrists And A Bruised Elbow

You're sitting at your computer, e-mailing one of your good friends and trying to think of a good way to rephrase a sentence. You look around the room, thinking. You stare at the keyboard. Then, you realize, "Hmm, my wrists are orange."

Have you ever had this experience?

Well, it's happened to me. Yep, my wrists are orange. It's from all the juicing I've been doing. My right elbow is all bruised up because we juice our carrots/apples/veggies, then we put the pulp in a cheese cloth and press it with our presser. You have to jack it up, so you tighten the knob, stick the metal "pole" thing in the hole and start pulling it up, and down, and up, and down, and up... well, you get the picture. When you get to a certain point, it gets harder to jack it, so I lay my arm across the pole, warp my hand around the end of it, closer to the press, and push down with my arm, bruising my elbow. I never really noticed that I had a bruised elbow until this afternoon when I was pulling some laundry out of the washer and hit my elbow on the edge of the washer. I didn't hit the washer hard enough to bruise my elbow, but it hurt really bad. I looked down and there it was. A blue-ish, purple-ish spot. You can't see it very well, though, because my elbow is orange as well. My wrists and elbow are just stained up with the carrot juice, that's all. Don't worry, I'm not turning into an alien, though I might be turning into a big carrot. LOL =D

Anyways, I just thought I'd post before I head off to my friend's party tonight. I should probably finish getting ready. :) Have an awesome weekend!
