Running Out Of Time...

For Christmas I got the newest Barlow Girl CD. I have a lot of favorites on that CD, but I'd have to say their song Running Out Of Time is my favorite. Sorry, I couldn't find a free streaming for the whole song, so the words will have to do...

RUNNING OUT OF TIME by BARLOW GIRL

We are not blind, we know the truth.
Still we don't stand, still we don't choose.
We'd rather stay so comfortable, stuck in our world under control.
We may not pull the trigger but we stand by and watch and pretend not to see.
Silence is worse than evil done.
What in the world have we become?
Can't you see that...

(chorus)
This is War! So pick your side.
It's time to move, not time to hide.
Don't let lies make up your mind.
'Cause can't you see we're running out of time?

Tomorrow will come, one day we'll see the choices we made, made history.
Before it's too late find where you stand.
Let's use our voice while we still can.
Can't you see that...
(chorus 2x)

I read a post- I think maybe last week- on Keilah's blog about her, her family and different people from her community getting together and marching against abortion. As soon as I read her post I thought of this song. We've got to use our voices. We had to witness to people. Has anyone ever heard of Britt Nicole's song Lost Get Found? Well, I have and that song speaks a lot about what I'm saying. If we do nothing our nation will ruin. We have to stand up and fight against things that are wrong and un-Godly, such as abortion. We also need to share the Gospel with people. Remember when you first realized who God was and what His Son did for you? Weren't you filled with this fiery passion to tell everyone about Him? Well, where has that fire gone? It seems like we Christians just "stand by and watch and pretend not to see". Anyway, it was just great because earlier in the week I read one of Keilah's posts about marching against abortion and that's the kinds of things we Christians should be doing. We can make excuses all day (trust me, I do it, too), but there is no excuse. We are called to preach the Gospel and to witness. If we don't, who will? If you would like to read Keilah's post, click HERE to get there. :) Come on people, we're RUNNING OUT OF TIME...
