A Beautiful Song And Celebration

Have any of you every heard of Kari Jobe? She has the most beautiful voice and her songs are wonderfully written. For my 15th Birthday last year I got her newest cd. One song on the cd really stuck out to me: Healer. Because of the... unique situation we're in right now (with dad and all) this song has really touched my heart. I know some of you are suffering with sickness, and/or you have family members who are, so I thought I'd share the lyrics to the song with you, and the url to a video of it. Here ya go:

You hold my every moment.
You calm my raging sea.
You walk with me through fire and heal all my disease.
I trust in You. I trust in You.

(chorus)
I believe You're my Healer.
I believe You are all I need.
I believe You're my portion.
I believe You're more than enough for me.
Jesus You're all I need.

You hold my every moment.
You calm my raging sea.
You walk with me through fire and heal all my disease.
I trust in You, Lord I trust in You!
*go to chorus*

Nothing is impossible for You.
Nothing is impossible.
Nothing is impossible for You.
You hold my world in Your hands.
*repeat 1x then go to chorus*

Now, if you wanna hear the song (I highly suggest it) click HERE to listen to it while watching a video. This link will take you to 'youtube'. Just thought I'd warn you.

Here's an update: My dad is still not feeling good. We have to help him walk and eat. Mom's the only one who can help him walk because he pretty much just leans on you and he would probably knock us girls over. :) He has to eat smooth foods (such as cream o' wheat, pudding, cheese-cake filling, apple sauce) because he is having trouble swallowing solid foods. Right now he still has double vision and he is going to the hospital to have another lumbar puncture on Monday (tomorrow). He doesn't know yet because mom doesn't want him to get upset. It will be like his 7th one and they're really painful. He also may have to stay in the hospital for a few days if he's not better by tomorrow, which I don't really think he will be, because he's been going downhill every day. We haven't been to Church in a little over a week because of dad's illness, but the Pastor came over last night to pray for dad and one of the families of our Church held a prayer meeting at their house for dad last night. I also want to thank you for your prayer. It means so much and prayer is a powerful thing.
Also.... THIS IS MY 300TH POST!! I'm very excited. I won't be doing a giveaway, because my blog anniversary is coming up soon, and I figured I'd do one then. :)

I'll be praying for your dad. I remember when my dad, who has Chron's disease had to stay in the hospital for a month. It was so scary, but prayer really does work! (no surprise there, though) =D. May God be with your dad tomorrow during his lumbar puncture.

Blessings,
~Stephanie

What an encouragement, Stephanie! It's nice to know I'm not alone. I mean, I know I'm not alone, but I don't know anyone else who's dad had serious health issues (except for now), so that's what I mean. :) I'll keep your dad and family in my prayers, too.

Hugs,
Eldarwen

Prayer DOES work! My dad has cancer. He made it through treatment, but we don't know if the treatment was successful.

Anyhow, enough about me. I'm praying REAL hard for ya, Eldarwen!
