Of Miscellaneous Things

Katie awarded/tagged me! Thanks Katie! :)

1. If you blog anonymously, are you happy doing this? If you aren't anonymous do you wish you started out anonymously, so that you could be anonymous now? Well, I am anonymous, and I like it. While I would love to tell each and every one of you my real name, I also like being anonymous because the Internet is a scary place.

2. Describe an incident that shows your inner stubborn side: Um, wow, there's so many. lol :D How about the time when I was in Kindergarten (I was attending Public School then) and mom made me wear these stretchy, green tights with a white turtle neck shirt. I was mortified that I had to go to school in that. I didn't want to get out of the car and I was balling my eyes out. Ha!

3. What do you see when you really look at yourself in the mirror? I see a talkative girl who loves to be the center of attention (on some occasions), who isn't always as secure in herself as she would like to be, but embraces the way God made her and loves livin life! :D

4. What is your favorite summer cold drink? A big ole glass of sweet tea! ^_^

5. When you take time for yourself, what do you do? Usually I get on the computer, check my email, or my blog, then I'll either go read a book, or do something random like paint my nails. :)

6. Is there something you still want to accomplish in your life? Uh, yeah! There's lots of things. Like, I would love to take Crown Ministries (something my parents were involved in which teaches you how to manage your money [erm, God's money] correctly). I would also love to get my DL, duh. Haha! :D Also, learning Spanish would be very useful and I hope to learn it before I graduate. Those are just some of the things I would still like to accomplish. :)

7. When you attended school, were you the class clown, the overachiever, the shy person, or always ditching? None of the above, really. I loved to talk and I basically thought I was at school to make new friends. lol :D

8. If you close your eyes and want to visualize a very poignant moment in your life, what would you see? I'll have to get back to you on that.

9. Is it easy for you to share your true self in your blog, or are you more comfortable writing posts about other people and events? I love to share things about myself on my blog (since, of course, it is my blog), but I also love to tell about my Savior, so I try not to make it all about me. :)

10. If you had the choice to sit down and read a book, or talk on the phone, which would you choose and why? Well, I strongly dislike talking on the phone. I'm terrible at communicating things and carrying on a conversation over the phone, but then again reading isn't a fad of mine. I just read whenever I get a new book I've been wanting. So it just depends on my mood at the moment. :)

So a few months ago I posted and said I received a "new" phone. My mom got an upgrade, so I got her old phone. Technically it wasn't new, but it was new to me. Aaaanyways, I'm goin off on a rabbit trail... yesterday I really did get a NEW phone (yes, a real upgrade at last!:) I got this bad boy:
Oh how I love my new phone. ^_^ It's so much better than my old Motorola. :) It takes great pictures and videos, and it doesn't sound like the person on the other line is drowning. Ha! I don't text, so for all those texters out there, you might not like the phone just because it doesn't have a mini keyboard, but I for one am in L<3VE! *swoon* I haven't named my phone yet (yes, I am going to name my phone. Don't laugh). Got any suggestions? :)

Also, dad got his gumption on Tuesday (Jan 25). He has been buzzing around outside, fixing a car for a friend, talk, talk, talkin' like there's no tomorrow, and he's feeling great! Praise God!! I hope you all have had a blessed week and that your weekend is stupendous! ^_^

9 Greetings from Elven Friends

What a fun post, Eldarwen! I know what you mean about talking on the phone. I am reeaallly bad at that. Seriously. I would *much* rather have a face-to-face conversation. :P

I'm so glad your dad is doing well!! I hope you have a stupendous weekend too! ;)

~ Love you!

Heyyy!! That's pretty much the same phone that I have! Except mine has orange in it :P
But hey, there's nothing wrong with naming things!! Stella is the name of my phone...its really amusing when I lose it (which I do ALL the time), because instead of just irritatingly looking around for the phone, you get to be like "Stellaaaa, where are you??". It makes life more fun. :D

So glad your dad has his "gumption " back. I am still praying for him and all of your family. Nice phone!!!! I don't text either so , its awesome!
Name your phone after a favorite hero of character from a book, I would say make sure its a name you will still like in a few months time.
And I will do this tag. :)
God Bless
Autumn.

I know what you mean, I'm pretty much the worst person to talk on the phone- ever. ;) Your new phone is cool! I got your letter yesterday and will write soon! :)
