This morning, I peaked out our kitchen window to look out in the yard and see that the pool water was frozen! I just had to get some pictures... and touch it. *giggles*
It was so beautiful and looked quite thick:
So, I wanted to see if it could hold me:
Then, the terrible unexpected happened:The ice broke! I was struggling and struggling. The water was absolutely freezing and I couldn't feel anything. After my long hard struggle, I finally managed to... pull my boots out o' the frozen water. LOL =D Did I have you scared there for a minute? No, I didn't fall in and no, I didn't stand on the ice. I simply placed my feet on it (of course, I was wearing mud boots) and the ice broke, my feet splashing in the water and spraying me. It was really cold and I thought my boots might freeze! Anyway, I'm sorry. I just wanted to put some thrill in this post and see if I could get you excited. :) I hope it wasn't too harsh of me. ^_^
I took this video of me taking a large chunk of ice and throwing it in the center of the pool. It's not very long, but... enjoy. ;)

Neat!! I love the video. :)
Thanks Milli and Lindsay! It was lots of fun. I threw quite a few chunks of ice on the frozen surface. I loved the sound! ^_^

Dear Eldarwen,
How big is your pool?
That's pretty cool about it being frozen!
Love,
Vellvin.
Nice, neat-O!

You had me for a minute there, Eldarwen! I was like Man! What was she thinking!?!?!?! But I'm glad you didn't! =)

~Samarah~
Thank you! I know, me too. I was so awesome! =D
~Vellvin~
It's 30ft. by 30ft.... I'm pretty sure. :) Mom, is that correct? lol :D
I know how tall it is: 5ft. But there's only about... 4ft of water because you're not supposed to fill it up to the tippy-top. :)
~Libby~
Thanks! It was sooo much fun! ^_^ I find pleasure in.... interesting things, huh?
~Chloe~
*evil laugh* my plan worked! *rubs hands together* lol =D jk. Yeah, that would be really... un-smart to stand on it. It was only 2 inches thick or so.
Hugs,
Eldarwen
The pool is 30 ft in diameter because it's a round pool. It is 5feet tall, but the water is about 4-6 inches less than that.
I had to comment, Eldarwen, so you'd know I'm still paying attention.
I love you,
Galadrimom
WOW!!!!!!!!! COOL!!!!!!!! (literally! :))
God Bless You And Your Family,
Saerwen
