More Bad News

Okay, I know my posts lately have been "down" and full of things that aren't necessarily "good", but I wanted to let all of you know that dad got the results from his MRI on his spine. The neurologist said that there's "more lesions on the spine". He didn't say how many more, just that there's more. Not the best news, but now it's mostly likely NOT Lymphoma. I'm so happy! If you don't know what Lymphoma is (be for-warned, there is a "gross" picture. It's of a lymphoma cell, or whatever you call it, but it doesn't look that nice), click HERE to read about it. So, now dad most likely has MS. If you don't know what MS is, click HERE to read about it. These links will take you to Wikipedia, just thought I'd let you know. :) Anyway, now I would like to share some Bible verses with you, that have encouraged me in the last year...

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. ~Matthew 5:16 (p.s. I read this on Samarah's blog and that's where it encouraged me).

...but the crowds learned about it and followed him. He welcomed them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who needed healing. ~Luke 9:11

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. ~Hebrews 12:1

Both the one who makes men holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers. ~Hebrews 2:11

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. ~James 5:16

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. ~Matthew 6:33

Don't forget, if you have a question for me, click HERE and leave it in a comment. :)

These are just some of my favorite verses. :) I have a bunch more! Okay, don't worry, I'll come up with a post soon that doesn't involve me. Anyway, thank you for all your prayers! Just like James 5:16 says, "Prayer is Powerful!" That is my new motto. ;)

Oh gosh....I'm so sorry.
I mean, I believe that he will be completely and fully healed. I believe that with everything in me. But in the mean time it's gotta be terrible for all of you. Just that you're taking it so well is amazing to me...you're faith if incredible. I honestly don't now where I'd be if I was put in a situation half this serious.
But my prayers, and that of my friends are with you.
I'm going to do a post on my blog asking people to pray. I dunno when I can post it though. (its a long story) But I will as soon as possible. Hopefully he will be healed before I have a chance though.

We love you Eldarwen. Don't you ever doubt how much you really are loved.

Blessings For Ever And Ever

What a sweet and uplifting comment! :) I believe my dad will be healed, also. Thank you, but God is the one who gives strength, so I know it's Him who's holding me. :) But really, Bleah, this comment just made my day. :) (((bunches of big hugs)))

Me, too! It's such a relief. Thank you so much, Emily! <3
