Drastic Decision and Provision

Hi blogging peeps. This is a drastic decision for me, *sniff* but I've decided to take a break from blogging until after CHRISTmas. This week I really need to be focusing on my family and getting cleaning done around the house. So, I will now leave you with this post:

This morning we did not go to Church because dad isn't feeling good at all. Well, around 1pm someone knocked on our front door. We figured it couldn't be someone we know, because if it was, they would've known to come to the back door. Anyway, it was some people saying they had brought us a bunch of food. They brought it all in and set it on the table. When they were done and had left we went in there to look at the food they had brought. You will probably think I'm exaggerating, (I'm not) but our morning room table was FULL of food. No room for anything else. It was PACKED! We were a little overwhelmed with all this food, but very thankful. Narthea got right to work. She completely cleared out the pantry (got out all the food, cleaning supplies, etc.,) and swept the floor of it. Then she wiped off the shelves. When she had gotten all the food out of our pantry and added it to the food we had just received all of our cabinet space (and let me tell you, we have a lot of cabinet space) was FULL of food. No kidding. Right now Narthea is working on getting all that food into our pantry. This is such a tremendous blessing! After my dad wasn't able to work my parents were thinking, "Oh no, how are we gonna pay our bills? How are we gonna buy food? The girls won't get anything for CHRISTmas (not that it matters, though)." Now, we're all thinking, "Oh my, we had just enough to pay the bills," because wonderful friends and family have given us money and helped out. "Oh my, we filled our pantry with food," once again because friends and family helped out. "Oh my, look at the abundance of gifts under that tree!" and once again, because family and friends have gone shopping and gotten gifts for us. Not just Narthea, Esara, Caldirwen and I, but mom and dad, too. I am so thankful to all of them and I just wanted to share that with y'all. Do not worry about the future. Trust me, it doesn't help. If you fully trust in the Lord He will provide. He provided us with gifts, which we didn't even need. Sometimes, we would think, "Oh my, there's no way we have enough to pay the land payment," and then like, days before it's due God would give us the money to pay it. He is mighty, loving and all-knowing. At times you may think He doesn't know what you need, but He does. :) Here's a verse I'd like to share with you:

Psalm 144:13 NIV
Our barns will be filled with every kind of provision. Our sheep will increase by thousands, by tens of thousands in our fields.

Thank you all for your prayers for our family! I will see [more like talk to] you all after CHRISTmas. Merry CHRISTmas everyone! :)

Hugs from your friend,

I'll miss you :( but it IS a good idea to take a break from technology every once and a while. I'm proud of you! :D

God certainly provides!!! My dad is also out of a job (has been for about 6 months), but it has been so neat to see how God always provides! Someday, we'll be able to look back on these times and see how much we grew in Christ and how He had a plan throughout it all. Whether it's here on earth or in heaven, someday we'll see how God will use it for something good (Rom. 8:28).

Blessings from your sister in Christ,
Chloe

I know it's Christmas, but I never had the chance to say-

I got the item I won! it finally came! It looks great, but the little hummingbird was broken off! But my dad easily placed it back on! Nothing else was broken! The hummingbird just fell of the display, but now it looks as good as new! Thanks!

Merry Christmas! Hope you got some awesome gifts and hope people liked the gifts you got them(if you got them anything of course!)=D

Oh no! I'm so sorry it was broken! The post office said it would be fine the way I had packaged it, but I guess not. :/ I'm glad your dad was able to fix it, though. :)

Hugs to you all,
Eldarwen
