Asian Pear Cake

Today, after Church service I made a cake for family ministry tonight. I thought I'd share some pics with y'all. :)

This is the jar of canned pears... and yes, they're home-grown, but not by us. A lady from church gave them to us:

First I had to strain the pears:

Then I had to dice them all up:

Then I added some cinnamon and sugar to the pears in a bowl:
After that, I mixed together the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl: Here's the dry ingredients actually mixed together:

Then I put together the pears and dry ingredients:

It baked for 45 minutes on 350 degrees(f) and it smelled absolutely delicious!
